Nicole De La Perrelle 

BSc Optom/ GRAD CERT OCULAR THERAPEUTICS

Nicole completed her Bachelor degree in Optometry  at the University of Melbourne in 1995. Having worked in rural Victoria, she moved north to Coral Sea Eyecare in 2001. Nicole has since obtained her Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics at QUT in 2007, and her Post Graduate Diploma in Practice Management in 2006. Nicole has participated in outreach eye programs to East Timor, and was a Queensland finalist for the Telstra Business Awards.  She now consults part time at the Practice while raising her young family.

Gary Venz 

B App Sc (Optom)/ Grad Cert Ocular Therapeutics/ B App sc (Physics)/ PhD 

Gary completed his optometry degree and his graduate certificate in ocular therapeutics at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).  He has worked as an optometrist in north Queensland since moving north from Brisbane in 2011.  In his spare time Gary loves to be outdoors.  Having completed many marathons, including an ultra-marathon, he is always looking for new running adventures in Australia and overseas. Gary is also a qualified Justice of Peace.

TRACEY SAXON

Tracey joined the Coral Sea Eyecare team in 2016. She abounds with energy and fabulous organizational skills. Tracey has completed her Cert IV in Optical Dispensing with ACOD. As a competent dispenser Tracey runs our laboratory and ensures all jobs are completed on time to the highest standard. She is always happy to assist patients with their needs and has a great eye for frame selection. Tracey lives locally with her husband and two children and enjoys the adrenaline of water skiing in her spare time.

LEAH NASH

Leah joined our team as an Optical assistant in May 2022 and has since completed her Cert IV in Optical Dispensing. She is a 3rd generation local of the shire and enjoys helping old and new faces find the perfect frame. In her spare time she is a budding musician and avid book reader.

CELESTE DAY

Celeste has returned to Coral Sea after maternity leave with two beautiful girls. She has obtained her CERT IV in Optical Dispensing in 2023. Celeste now works part time and loves spending time outdoors with her growing family.
